SALE OF TICKETS FOR THE EVENTS OF 27th JEWISH CULTURE FESTIVAL - RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The entity responsible for ticket sale is Stowarzyszenie Festiwal Kultury Żydowskiej (Jewish Culture Festival Association) with its registered office in Krakow, ul. Józefa 36, 31-056 Krakow, entered in the Association Register and Business Register of the District Court for Krakow-Śródmieście in Krakow, XI Business Division of the National Court Register with KRS number: 0000168258, REGON: 350806019, NIP: 6762055190 (later referred to as: JCF, Jewish Culture Festival, the Association or the Organiser).

2. These Rules and Regulations apply to the sale of tickets for events scheduled in the course of the 2017 Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow organized by JCF.

3. Tickets will be sold at the festival ticket office located at ul. Jakuba in Krakow and at www.jewishfestival.pl.

4. Ticket prices are listed at www.jewishfestival.pl, the prices include VAT.

5. The number of tickets for events is limited, therefore the Jewish Culture Festival Association reserves the right to refuse to sell tickets or to suspend ticket sales if all tickets for an event have already been sold out. There will be a limited number of tickets mainly to workshops, guided tours and Cheder concerts.

6. Pre-sale on the Internet is only for tickets to festival concerts and passes to festival concerts, organised by the Jewish Culture Festival Association. There is no ticket pre-sale to events in the Galicia Jewish Museum or JCC Krakow.

7. Internet pre-sale and sale of tickets for live concerts and concert passes will begin on 4 May, 2017 and will end on 2 July, 2017.

8. The festival ticket office will be open from 17 June 2017 to 2 July 2017 at the time indicated at www.jewishfestival.pl.

9. Subject to point 15 of the Rules and Regulations, the Association does not provide refunds, so please think your purchases over carefully. According to Art. 38 points 12 and 13 of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws 2017, item 683), buyers of tickets purchased on the Internet do not have the right to withdraw from the contract.

10. Possible payment methods: when shopping online: Internet transfer by PayU, payment by credit or debit card by PayU, payment through other mechanisms offered by our partners (biletyna.pl) or cash at the ticket office (only for tickets purchased at the ticket office).

11. The ticket may be printed by the buyer from a PDF file provided by the Association, sent by e-mail or otherwise to a mobile device in PDF format or to be picked up at the JCF ticket office.

12. To receive a VAT invoice for purchased tickets, the Association must be informed about this fact when the purchase is made by e-mail to office@jewishfestival.pl with the necessary data: full name, detailed address and NIP number.

13. Discount tickets are available to: primary school pupils, secondary school pupils, students up to the age of 26, pensioners, the disabled. To purchase a discounted ticket, buyers must hold an applicable ID card confirming their entitlement to such a discount.

14. Tickets to guided tours and workshops must be purchased at the Festival ticket office in advance – it will not be possible to purchase a ticket at the entrance to a workshop or at the start of a tour. We apologise for this inconvenience caused by the need to have all the purchases made through a cash register.

15. In Tempel Synagogue and in other festival venues the seats are not numbered. The festival does not reserve seats, except for VIP sections, sections for the disabled and the press at the Tempel Synagogue and other festival venues.

16. Reserved seats in the VIP section are also available to those who have purchased a Special Ticket.

17. In the event of cancellation, change of date or venue of any Event covered by a ticket or a pass, the Organiser shall reimburse the Buyer the amount of such a ticket or an amount proportional to the ticket price for the cancelled event from the price of the pass purchased for the event on condition that such a ticket or pass is returned by the Buyer within 14 days of the planned date of the Event. Reimbursement is made by depositing in the Organiser’s registered office the original unused ticket or pass with a receipt or a VAT invoice as proof of purchase and a signed statement indicating the reason for the refund.

18. The Organiser reserves the right to choose how to reimburse the returned tickets or passes, either in cash or by transfer to a bank account specified by the Buyer.

19. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for the actions of force majeure. In these Rules and Regulations force majeure shall mean any unforeseeable situation or event of exceptional nature beyond the control of the parties, preventing any of them from fulfilling any of their obligations, without their fault or negligence but which is irretrievable despite all due diligence and in particular: events of the nature of natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, or unusual and external events that could not be prevented (war, military rule, revolution, revolt, riots, etc.).

20. Tickets purchased from other operators are subject to reimbursement only on conditions of such an operator and in accordance with their procedures. Tickets which have not been purchased or paid for at the Association’s ticket office or via the Association’s website cannot be returned or exchanged at the ticket office. In case of a refund, please contact the ticket seller directly. JCF shall not be held responsible for the purchase of tickets from other operators.

21. Complaints should be reported immediately to the Jewish Culture Festival Association by e-mail (bilety@jewishfestival.pl) or by phone (+48 12 431 15 17) within 7 days of the planned date of the event for which the ticket has been bought subject to points 17 And 18 above.

22. Complaints will be dealt with within 14 days of receiving the request by the Association.

23. No duplicates for lost tickets or passes will be provided, especially to those purchased through sale systems other than those at wwww.jewishfestival.pl.

24. Personal data collected during the purchase of a ticket by www.jewishfestival.pl will be used solely for the purpose of concluding the contract and for performing the contract in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2015, Item 2135) and the Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 1030).

25. Processing of personal data collected during the purchase process to the extent necessary for the performance of the JCF contract may be entrusted to the payment service provider PayU S.A., ul. Grunwaldzka 182, 60-166 Poznań, tel. +48 61 628 45 05, e-mail: help@payu.pl, www.payu.pl. Data processing by PayU is based on the internal rules and procedures at PayU.

26. When buying two tickets at a full price at the Festival Ticket Office, the Buyer is entitled to purchase a ticket to any concert at a discounted price, regardless of whether or not a discount is otherwise available to them.

27. When purchasing a Synagogue Pass, the Buyer is entitled to purchase at the ticket office a concert ticket to the Tempel Synagogue not included in the pass (Cantors’ Concert, Leopold Kozłowski’s Concert).

28. When purchasing a Synagogue Pass, the Buyer shall receive a coupon entitling to a 15% discount for drinks and meals at Cheder Cafe.

29. The Association reserves the right to announce and conduct other promotions governed by separate regulations.

30. Buyers of festival concert tickets are obliged to observe the regulations for concerts at the venues to be posted on www.jewishfestival.pl, especially in the field of security procedures.

31. When organising events for which tickets are sold, the Association shall follow general laws governing the organisation and conduct of public events.

32. Attendants at the festival events shall be entitled to request to examine documents entitling to a discount in the case of holders of such a ticket and to inspect baggage for security purposes.

33. Big bags, backpacks and other large pieces of baggage are not allowed in the festival grounds.

34. The Association does not provide storage space for such items, and the persons carrying them may therefore not be admitted to the festival grounds.

35. JCF volunteers – The Machers, who shall carry appropriate ID badges and who shall be entitled take decisions on behalf of the Association, shall be responsible for overseeing and maintaining order in the festival venues.

36. Ticket holders are obliged to adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of JCF volunteers, and festival organisers who carry the appropriate ID badges.

37. Children under the age of 13 may participate in concerts only in the presence of an adult carer who may attend concerts solely on the basis of a separate ticket or a pass.

38. The organiser has the right to record the Event using image and sound recording equipment. The Buyers of a Ticket, Pass or Standing ticket participating in such an Event acknowledge that participation in the Event is tantamount to free consent to photograph and film them, and to record, broadcast and disseminate their voice or image for documentation, reporting, advertising and promotional purposes for any program or publication in which the Event may be used.
