Each year, the Jewish Culture Festival is co-created by a team of 70 volunteers – people from all over the world and of all ages. They are people who are not afraid of any task and who has various skills which can be used in every, even surprising circumstances. They are The Machers – volunteers of the JCF.
Do you want to be the part of this adventure? Do you want to meet new people? Or maybe you want to see how the organization of the Festival looks like from behind the scene? Here is an offer for you!
– persons between 18 and 30 y.o. from all over Europe and ESC’s partner countries, including Israel
– persons over 18 y.o. living in Krakow
– fluent in English
– available between June 10th and July 10th, 2022
– open and ready for action
– the opportunity to take part in one of the largest cultural events in Poland and the largest festival of Jewish culture in Europe
– a lot of fun and new experiences
– integration trips, trainings, study visits, workshops
– free entrance to all festival events and tickets for your family and friends
– the possibility to do student internships
– return flight / train tickets to and from Krakow
– accommodation for the duration of the project (June 10th – July 10th, 2022)

1. Now the ball is in your court! Fill in the application form available under the button below
2. We want to get to know you better! Please record a short video (up to 90 seconds, in English) and tell us why you want to become The Macher, upload the video to internet and paste the link to the application form above
3. Wait for contact from us. We will invite selected candidates to a meeting, preferably onsite, but online is also an option. During that meeting you will speak with the volunteer coordinators and thanks to it we will get to know each other even better. Of course we will also answer all your questions.
Applications should be sent between February 22nd and March 22nd, 2022.
The recruitment results will be announced between April 18th and 24th, 2022.
