Jewish Culture Festival Society was founded in 1995 in order to organize annual editions of the festival. Nowadays beside running the festival, our Society is responsible for the all year round activities in the Cheder, as well as for program for volunteers – The Machers. Festival office represents the Society in all its activities.
Founder of the festival and its director from the very first edition. For his work he has been awarded with numerous awards and medals in Poland and abroad, including Polonia Restituta medal from the President of the Republic of Poland, Irena Sendlerowa Award from the Taube Foundation as well as an award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for promotion of Poland abroad.
In 2018, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, as the only person from Poland, he was awarded with a honorary title of “The Friend of Israel” (Hebrew: Yakir Israel) and received by Rueven Rivlin, President of Isarel.
She graduated tourism at the Academy of Physical Education and Culture Management at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She joined the festival in 1999 and is responsible for programming, production and logistic of the festival.
Graduated Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University and Arts Management Training Initiative Scotland. Since 2005 he coordinates PR and fundraising activities, as well as production of the festival. He is also a media contact on behalf of the festival.
Graduated from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and Tel Aviv University, joined the festival team in 2011. He is responsible for programming – both for the festival as well as for the Cheder.
Graduated East European Studies and Political Sciences at the universities in Cologne, Germany and Krakow, Poland. She continued her studies at the Free University in Berlin. She volunteered at the festival between 2014 and 2016. In 2017 Judith started her joined the festival office as a program manager responsible for festival and Cheder’s programming.
Student of applied psychology at the Jagiellonian University. She has developed her interest in intercultural psychology during cooperation with numerous NGO, including JCF (as a volunteer, from 2016). In 2018 she became a coordinator of the project Workshops for Seniors, and in 209 joined festival office as a volunteer program manager, helping also with programming at Cheder and during the festival.

The Society presents i promotes contemporary Jewish culture from Israel and the entire Diaspora. By doing so, we aim to eliminate anti-Semitism and to create a friendly and welcoming environment for the growing Jewish community. To achieve these aims, the Society organizes annual Jewish Culture Festival, all year round programs at the Cheder as well as by developing and promoting ideas of voluntary work as a part of the program called The Machers.
The Society is a non-governmental and non-profit charity, registered in Poland.
