Photos by Susanne Guzei-Taschner and Eugeniusz Wilczyk document a life in Kazimierz in 50s and 80s of past century. This is a unique witness of the time of changes that took place in our quarter after the war is presented in the Bosak’s house. This exhibtion brings together four dimensions of Kazimierz quarter.

The main theme for the 25th anniversary edition of the festival is a Quarter. We would like to invite you to a Festival Quarter that we created especially for the festival, to be a heart of the festival. This especially designed and built right next to the Old Synagogue temporary quarter within the quarter will be full of events and activities.
June 11th, 2015 was declared Sigmund Rolat Day in New York City.
Our dear friends and members of the Friends of the Cracow Jewish Culture Festival, Inc. received a special medal from the Mayor of Krakow. Medal Honoris Gratia is awarded to those, who support development of Krakow.
Bronisław Komorowski, President of the Republic of Poland took the Honorary Patronage over the 25th anniversary edition of the Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow.
Two murals commissioned by the festival not only became landmarks in our quarter, but they also remind about its Jewish identity.
In some Jewish houses before the war – as told by Miriam Akavia – not far from the Hanukkah lamp one could see also a Christmas tree. Our The Machers went even a bit further – theu made Hanukkah lamp and Chrstmas tree into one HanuTree. Only in Kazimierz!
From Poland With Beat – this is a title of a series of DJ parties organized by the festival in December this year in San Francisco and in Krakow. Hanukkah dreidl is spinning round just a vinyl!
