The first candle will be lit up this coming Sunday evening, which will mark a beginning of the Hanukkah holidays! We wish you joyous, warm and bright days – for the upcoming Hanukkah as well as for the entire life!
The main theme for the 25th anniversary edition of the festival is a Quarter. We would like to invite you to a Festival Quarter that we created especially for the festival, to be a heart of the festival. This especially designed and built right next to the Old Synagogue temporary quarter within the quarter will be full of events and activities.
In some Jewish houses before the war – as told by Miriam Akavia – not far from the Hanukkah lamp one could see also a Christmas tree. Our The Machers went even a bit further – theu made Hanukkah lamp and Chrstmas tree into one HanuTree. Only in Kazimierz!
