The biggest Jewish concert stage in the world! Seven hours of non-stop Jewish music! A Jewish Woodstock in the heart of fourteenth-century Kazimierz! Shalom on Szeroka Street at the twenty-first Jewish Culture Festival will be a feast of Jewish music bringing together people from a variety of cultures. Friendship – Love – Judeo Sound!
The stars of the Concert this year will be Abraham Inc., the amazing group that includes clarinetist David Krakauer; trombonist and funk pioneer Fred Wesley who was a friend and musical sidekick of James Brown; rapper, vocalist and accordionist Socalled, togehter with C-Rayz Walz (vocal), Sheryl Bailey (guitar), Jerome Harris (double bass, vocal), Freddie Hendrix (trumpet), Michael Sarin (percussion), Allen Watsky (guitar) and Brandon Wright (saxophone).
Appearing alongside Abraham Inc. on ulica Szeroka are this year’s revelation, Yemen Blues from Israel, fronted by Ravid Kahalani (vocal. percussion, gimbri), Omer Avital (oud, double bass, vocal), Reut Regev (tuba), Itamar Borochov (trumpet), Hadar Noiberg (flute), Rony Iwryn (latin American percussions), Yohai Cohen (Middle Eastern percussions), Hilla Epstain (cello), Galia Hai (violin).
And Festival All Stars Orchestra with amazing Frank London will end the Finale concert of the Festival.
