[2007-11-27] The Other Europeans - a common project of the Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow, Klezmore Festival in Vienna and Yiddish Summer in Weimar, was launched on November 22nd and 23rd in Krakow. This project is to examine relations and mutual inspirations between Jewish and Roma cultures.

This seminar was a first common working session for all partners of this project and also an opportunity to discuss ideas with invited experts: Kalman Balogh (Budapest), Bob Cohen (Budapest), Ben Mandelson (London), Ellen Ruth Gruber (USA / Italy) as well as Dr. Sławomir Kapralski and Adam Bartosz from Poland. The project is organized under artistic supervision of Alan Bern, one of founders of the Brave Old World.


The Other Europeans is a project co-financed by the European Union in the framework of Culture 2007-1013 Program.
